I have Desktop shortcuts on the Tab for the files and didn't want to have to make new shortcuts when the files were updated. I wanted a way to get the updates to the Galaxy Tab. I have a number of files I turn into PDFs on the Mac that get updated frequently - audio / video lists and info on the videos in folders. I buy technology devices because the device itself does what I want it to do and fits my needs. Apple have stopped allowing app developers from having store access via their apps. The 7 inch Galaxy Tab 2 is a lot smaller than the iPad mini and is still without the restriction of using in app stores for Kindle, Audible etc. But they are not small enough though and their specs are lower than the new iPad (which makes zero sense). I'll be honest here the iPad mini's look ok. At the time of this post the iPad mini was not available in Ireland.
